Submit Your ESG Report

This feature allows your company to upload ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information to demonstrate your sustainability performance and impact.

What is an ESG report? An ESG report shows how your company performs in three key areas:

* Environmental - Your impact on climate, resources, and the planet
* Social - How you treat employees, communities, and stakeholders
* Governance - Your leadership, ethics, and business practices

What this includes:

* Your company's sustainability strategy and goals
* Current initiatives and programs
* Performance metrics and achievements
* Future commitments and targets

How it connects to your climate reporting: Your ESG data feeds into a Climate Questionnaire, which helps determine:

* What areas need to be covered in your TCFD Summary report
* How your sustainability efforts align with climate disclosure requirements
* Which metrics and data points are most relevant for your reporting

Benefits:

* Comprehensive sustainability reporting
* Better stakeholder communication
* Enhanced TCFD climate reporting
* Improved transparency and accountability

How to submit:

1. Compile your ESG performance data and initiatives
2. Provide the required information below
3. Call the "Push ESG answers" API to upload your ESG report to the system

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://tri.gitbook.io/tri-doc/esg.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
