Scope 3

Add Scope3 company

Add Scope 3 Companies to Your Carbon Reporting

This feature allows you to include other companies in your supply chain as part of your Scope 3 emissions reporting.

What are Scope 3 companies? These are businesses in your value chain that you don't own or directly control, but whose emissions are connected to your operations. Examples include:

  • Upstream companies: Suppliers, Distribution & Logistics, Property Managers, Waste

  • Downstream companies: Distributors, Retailers, Franchises, Financed Emissions

How it works: You identify companies in your upstream and downstream value chain

  1. Add their information to the Triangle system

  2. Their emissions data automatically gets included in your S1-3 report under the "Scope 3" category based on the allocation to your entity

  3. This gives you a complete picture of your indirect carbon footprint

Benefits:

  • More comprehensive carbon reporting

  • Better understanding of your full environmental impact

  • Compliance with S1-3 reporting standards

Next steps:

  1. Gather information about the Scope 3 companies you want to include

  2. Provide the required data below

  3. Call the "Add Scope3 company" API to add these companies to your reporting

This will ensure their emissions are counted as part of your overall carbon footprint in future S1-3 reports.
